The Solar Power Purse
The brain behind this neat little purse is Joe Hynek who is a doctoral student in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University. This aptly named “power purse” is made of thin, flexible solar cells, that can recharge batteries and other electronic devices. Form and function in one stylish package.
